The Machine Hum of WIFI Induced Silence.

Inspired By Telephone poles and CRT TVs, this render was a prop creation/ small environment building project: (Ideation, modeling, texturing, animation, rendering).

I enjoy the process of collecting reference images as it is a fun exercise to collage together a prop or environment and find a story in the organized mess. For these props, I knew I wanted a telephone pole in the scene, and the CRT TV and Converse shoes emerged from the process of gathering images.

There is a certain religious quality to the electrical towers that line every modern street. We are so accustomed to them that we rarely ever give much attention to them, yet they appear so foreign and otherworldly when you carefully study them. We rely on them for electricity, internet, telephone; all of these things have become essential to operating in the modern world. Without the electrical grid that these towers create, we are completely disconnected from the greater world.

I asked ChatGPT what it thought about this, and it wrote back to me a poem: "In the tapestry of the urban sky, Angels of wires, telephone poles stand high.
